Itinerary

Kikuletwa Hotspring

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive across the open Maasai steppe and acacia woodlands, where on clear days you may be treated to stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru in the distance. The journey itself is a highlight, as you pass through traditional villages and beautiful landscapes before arriving at the springs.

Upon reaching Kikuletwa Hot Springs, you’ll be welcomed by an oasis of turquoise, crystal-clear water shaded by fig and palm trees. This natural paradise is perfect for swimming, floating, or simply relaxing in the warm pools. For the more adventurous, a rope swing offers an exciting way to splash into the refreshing waters, while tiny fish give you a natural foot spa as they gently nibble at your toes.

After working up an appetite, you’ll enjoy a delicious local lunch by the water. Depending on your preference, this may be a traditional hot Tanzanian meal or a picnic-style packed lunch. Surrounded by nature, this is the perfect moment to rest, refresh, and take in the tranquil atmosphere.

The afternoon is yours to continue swimming, sunbathing, or engaging with local families who often visit the springs. You may also join a short guided walk around the area to learn more about the local environment and lifestyle.

Finally, after a day of fun and relaxation, you’ll take the scenic journey back, carrying with you beautiful memories of Tanzania’s hidden oasis.
